October 2007	Our Anniversary – 37^th “March Out Hunger” Tuesday October 2 at Noon at Tops to Samaritan Center Races—Follow up on those who donated to 2007 Night at the Races Wilson Farms—“Step up to the Plate” promotion
November 2007	Blizzard Bags Races—Letters to businesses asking for support for 3^rd Annual Night at the Races Nomination of slate of Officers for 2008
December 2007	12/1/07 Blizzard bags will be packed at 8:30am Delivered starting at 10:15am on December 1st Races--Contact prospective sponsors for Night at the Races Annual Christmas Appeal Letter Board—Election of Officers for 2008 Staff dinner at Moretti’s on 12/1/07 Volunteer Recognition on Friday, 12/7
January 2008	Jan 5, 2008 Strategic Planning Session, 8:30 to 11:30 A.M. Jan 8—Board Meeting 1/18/08 – Harriett’s Retirement 1 -3pm Board--New committee assignments for 2008
February 2008	Feb. 2, 2008 Strategic Planning Session, 8:30 to 11:30 A.M. Feb 12 –Board Meeting Prepare Newsletter to be mailed by 2/28/08
March 2008	3^rd Annual Night at the Races on 3/8/08 at the Horseheads American Legion March 11—Board Meeting March 16 – 3/23 is March Out Hunger Week March 19 is Mayors for Meals
April 2008	Apr. 5, 2008 Strategic Planning Session, 8:30 to 11:30 A.M. April 8—Board Meeting April 27 is start of National Volunteer Week
May 2008	May 5 – 9^th – MOW Volunteer Recognition – Board members act as greeters at MOW Office (10:30 – 12:30) and Horseheads (10:15 – 10:40) May 13—Board Meeting 5/10/08 – Metric Century (8am – 3pm) we need to supply workers 5/14/08 – Time Trial (Chapel Pk) – 4:30 – 6:30pm 5/24/08 – Bike Race Gang Mills – we are the benefactors and need to supply workers
